My last AccessPort got broken, then I lost it. Good riddance, it was only a v2 and the v3 I got has a better screen and new features. Same tuning capabilities, faster load times, more features. Me gusta.
Now I can finally go to a stage 2 tune. I know you guys don't like calling things staged, so stage 1 that I've been running is around 17 psi in all gears. Stage 2 is around 21 psi in all gears. Stock is 12 psi in 1st and 2nd, 15 psi in 3rd-6th. The turbo making the boost is a k04, which was stock on the Mazdaspeed3's.
I ordered from the guys at Freektune after reading all of their reviews and seeing that they were a sponsored tuner on mazdaspeedforums.org. They're a very reputable tuner and I'm looking forward to seeing how their off the shelf maps compare to Cobb's, and will most likely have them do a full e-tune down the road.
They're in the business of tuning the ST twins as well, and if you order an Accessport from them, they include their base maps in addition to Cobb's maps. Really looking forward to seeing what this thing will do for my car.
